TRAAAAAINNNN!

I forgot to post this picture of Hubby the other day.
He loooooves trains.
Yes, he is a train geek.
He rides one to work everyday
but still gets excited when he sees one
and yells, TrAAAAAiNNN! (just in case we can't see or hear it)
I wanted to snap the picture just as the front of the train passed him
but he waved a goofy wave just at that moment...
I was totally annoyed.
I felt he ruined the picture I was trying to capture
I've changed my mind-
it totally captures my lovely geeky hubby who, simply put,
loves trains.

11 YEARS

Yesterday was me and hubby's 11 year anniversary.

Can't believe its been 11 years....sounds so long....makes me feel old.

Had a lovely day together.

I love being married to him.
Actually, I love quite a lot of things about him.....
his kindness
his geekness
his sense of humor (even though some of his puns go over my head)
his patience (boy does he need that to be with me;)
how he is an amAzing father
how he will do anything for me...and lets me do what i want
how he doesn't judge me
how he is always ready to love me
how he smells....you smell like my nigie
how he can magically spread his toes reAlly wide apart
his dashing English looks
how he always fixes my computer
how he gave me such an amazing daughter
how he never (well, hardly ever) gets mad at me
and of course his very large feet - said with a te hee he

The annoying (but I still find them endearing when I think about it) list is as follows:
his vERy loud sneezes - no, seriously, they hurt my ears!!
his aversion to water on his face
how he picks the wrong parking spot - you would have to be in the car to understand
how he does everything sloooow...mostly annoying but not always - said with another te hee he

We made smores,
played games,

laughed AND laughed some more,
and drank wAy too much wine (us adults that is)

We saw Burn the Floor at the OC permorning arts center - it was amazing and super sexy!!

Wish I was a dancer (said with dreamy eyes)...maybe in my next life.

Had dinner at Monikat's house. Yummy food! Gus (her basset hound) got in the salad bowl and had wet ears from the salad dressing.

Last night with Veg before she goes back home....super sad!!!! I told M and she got all teary eyed. Wished she lived closer.

Faces full of smiles at our Girl Scout smores event.

I felt like a proud mother hen when the girls preformed their three songs they learned.

It was about a 8 minute drive to the campground and one of the girls said, "that was a long drive"
