SAN DIEGO SAFARI PARK

M and her best buddy went to the safari park.

It was sooooo hot 

that we left early.

The temp was 90 but it felt like 120.

We would walk for 5 minutes and then rest for 10.

It is such a great place!

We will go back soon since M has an annual pass.

LUAU

Our community put on a Luau.

We had a great time with friends.

There was food and traditional Hawaiian entertainment. 

PIANO PLAYING

Henry sometimes sings along when M plays piano

so I thought I would put him on top

to see if I could capture him doing it.

No luck but funny anyway.

MR. SOCKS IS A BULLY

Henry and I were enjoying a nap

when Mr. Socks joined us.

Mr. Socks and Henry usually are adorable snuggle buddies

but occasionally he still has some kitten left in him.

Here he is being a bully.

I had to rescue Henry

so I kicked Mr. Socks off the bed

and he then sulked in the corner.

HOLLYWOOD BOWL AND FIREWORKS

We went to the Hollywood Bowl 

with some long time friends.  

We had a blast and 

the fireworks were amazing.

We spent the day at the San Diego zoo

with a friend

and had a blast. 

It was a super fun day.

My feet were so sore

after 8 hours of walking around

that I couldn't sleep that night.

PALOMAR OBSERVATORY

We had a fun outing today

at the Palomar observatory.

Hubby was in heaven since

he loves telescopes. 

It certainly was a very large telescope. 

We did a tour so we got to see it close up.
