HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIRGINIA

A big happy birthday to Virginia.
Wish I was there to celebrate with her.
A picture of me and her a long time ago....
it cracks me up because of our huge grins.

THIS MADE ME LAUGH

HUBBY HANGING OUT WITH THE PETS

Hubby was hanging out on the balcony
with all the pets.
It made me laugh to see them all lined up.

1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY.

On the 14th was the one year anniversary of when Kim died.
I was in NY
so I bought a balloon and wrote her a letter and tied it to the balloon.
I took pictures of it flying higher and higher in the sky.
If there is a Heaven then for sure she will be there
so maybe she will get my note.
I just told her how much I missed her and how I love her.
I also visited her grave a few days after I got home.

I think about her every day....
something will remind me of her and make me smile
and other times I will think about her and cry.
I hope someday I can be as good a person as her
so that maybe I can see her again in heaven.

TRIP OF A LIFE TIME - NY

My friend had to go to New York for work
and could bring one person with her
but her husband couldn't go
so she brought me.
Boy did I feel special.
We stayed at the Waldorf
which was an amazing hotel.
I really loved NY!
I loved the diversity of the people.
I loved all the amazing buildings.
I loved the food.
I loved how you can walk everywhere.
I had such a great time with my friend.
I hope I can take Hubby and M there one day soon.
Here are some pics of the trip.

FIRST DAY OF 5TH GRADE

Here are some pictures of M on her first day
of 5th grade.
She looked so grown up to me.
I really can't believe she is in fifth grade.

ELEPHANT PARADE IN DANA POINT

In order to bring awareness to fact that
Asian elephants are on the verge on extinction,
there was a sculpture exhibition throughout Dana Point.
It was so fun trying to find them all.
We only saw a fraction of them....
here is some pictures of the ones we found.

THE GRAND CANYON

M and I had never been to the Grand Canyon
so we decided to make the drive.
I have seen pictures and heard people talk about it
but it is ReAlly one of those places
that you HAVE to see to appreciate how
magnificent it really is.
I was getting impatient
with the drive after driving through a forest.
We parked in the huge parking lot
and then walked a little way to finally see it.
I just couldn't believe it....
the hairs on my arms actually stood on end and I got goosebumps.
Soooo AmAzing!!!!!
