EXCITED FOR HALLOWEEN

M is super excited for Halloween.
This morning she made some Halloween themed
arts and craft out of pipe cleaners.
Here is some pics of her
skeleton and spider.

Little Kitten loved them
since she is
tOtAlly
OBseSSed
with pipe cleaners.

M decided she wanted to be a Mummy.
Here she is (after a toilet paper roll later).

Can you spot Thomas watching in the safety of the distance.

Little Kitten's turn to be a Mummy

In the afternoon,
M went to a local craft store
where they were having a
pumpkin decorating craft event.
MUCH to the delight of M,
her BFF turned up too.

Their pumpkins were adorable!

YELLOW RAIN BOOTS

M got some new yellow rain boots lined with
coZy
white fur....I wish I had some!

They arrived a few days ago
which was just in time
since today it
rained,
rained,
and
rained
some more.

She begged to splash in the puddles
so here she is.
She didn't mind a bit that it was pOURing....
I, on the other hand, would have much rather been inside
wearing my pjs and drinking hot chocolate.

PASSWORD HACKED BY A 7 YEAR OLD

Every morning when I go to make sure M is up and getting ready for school,
this is what I find...
M on her laptop and Thomas snuggling with her.
She has had her own laptop since she was 5.
She plays her games like
club penguin and animal jam.
We have a parental block on it
so she can't go to any websites
that we haven't approved.

Today one of the parents of her friends
let us know that she had hacked into hubby's password
and was checking out things on youtube.

Hubby has a program running on her labtop
that shows him exactly what she has looked up.
Luckily she was looking up pretty harmless stuff
like farting cat ( I did have to laugh).

Needless to say we were nOt happy about the whole thing.

It did amaze us that she saw hubby type the password and remember it.

Her laptop has been confiscated
and we had a long talk about
trust, privileges, deception, the dangers of the internet, etc.

M really enjoys her games
and I don't mind since they have educational aspects to them.
She also does a lot of other academic activities such as
piano and Kumon
so I also want to her do activities that
she really enjoys.

Not sure what I am going to do at this point
but for now there is no computer for her.

CAT KITE

M made a cat kite
at school the other day.
It is really cute.
The body of the kite is a cat's face
and the tails have wishes on them.

I had to laugh at her first wish.
Hubby's response was,
"BOYFRIEND!??!"
Her second wish is for another algae eater.
We have a fish tank
and her favorite fish is the algae eater...
she calls it Bob.
Her last wish is for
one of her friends to come live with her.

LITTLE KITTEN LOVES THE TRASH TRUCK

Little Kitten loves the trash truck.
When it drives by she will fly (yes, literally)
to the nearest window
to stare at it
until it drives away.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON

We went to to nursery today
to get some plants to
liven up our back yard.
M had a blast riding on the cart.

Faster, daddy, faster!

Make room for the plants.

The Nursery also had a cute little pumpkin patch.
It had so many varieties of pumpkins...
lots of weird colors,
shapes,
and textures.
M got a kick out of it.

Weird bumpy pumpkin.

What is this!?!

Pretty bench at the Nursery.

The whole family was hanging out in the back yard.

Some of the flowers I am going to plant.

A palm tree grew down our side yard.
There is just no room for it.
It finally had to go
since you can't walk down the side yard anymore.

The palm was a fighter...
it took hubby forever to dig it up.

Thomas enjoying the back yard too.

Little Kitten found a bucket with water
and of course was delighted...
pesky, pesky, pesky.
