FINN AND JAKE T-SHIRT

We ordered M a Finn and Jake t-shirt
and it finally arrived.
She loooves it...
so much in fact, that she slept in it too.
Apparently she had lots of boys come up to her in school
saying, "I love that show."
Personally, I just don't get it...
kinda weird!

HENRY LIKES SOCKS

Not sure why,
but Henry
loves socks.

If you leave one laying around
he will pick it up
and carry it around
until you take it of him...
too funny!

CAR PROBLEMS

So bummed,
had to have my car towed today...
transmission problems.
Arghhh!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - 3RD GRADE

Today was M's first day of 3rd grade.
She picked out her
new outfit,
new shoes,
and new backpack.

We are sUper
happy
cause her BFF is in her class
as well as some other
great kids that she knows.

I have heard good things
about her teacher
so I couldn't be happier...
mostly cause M is
happy.

I am just having a hard time
thinking that she is in
3rd grade.
Sounds so old...
but I think of her as so
little.

RAINBOW

We woke up to thunderstorms this morning.
More weird tropical weather today.
There was a rainbow off in the
far distance this evening
that I managed to snap a picture off...
not a great picture but it was pretty to see.

M on her pogo stick.
Half a second later
she was flat on her butt.
We agreed that
maybe using her hands was a
good idea.

RAIN STARVED CHILDREN

Today we had the weirdest weather.
It was hot, cold, hot and cold.
Hubby decided to mow the lawn during a cold portion
when it started to rain.

It rained big fat raindrops
for maybe a minute (no more than two).
M got all excited and yelled,
"I need my umbrella."
Within 30 seconds our neighbor's two little ones
were outside too.
They had on their
rain boots,
rain jacket and
umbrellas.

They were marching
up and down
the sidewalk
singing songs for the rain to stay.
After a few minutes
they gave up and decided to create
their own rain
with spray bottles.

The girls creating their
own rain with spray bottles.

A big gust of wind
blew M's
umbrella away.

Running to greet Henry.

Racing with Henry.

OCTOPUS HAT

We went to Farrells for Dinner.
The balloon guy made M this great Octopus hat...
Love it
and so did she!
Made me want to figure out how to twist balloons into animals.

Dinner was great
except I had a headache.
Farrells is for sure nOt the place to go
if you have a headache.
It was so noisy.
The were singing happy Birthday
(and banging a big drum)
to someone every 3 minutes.
M said:
"Its weird how so many people were born on the same day"
