RAIN STARVED CHILDREN

Today we had the weirdest weather.
It was hot, cold, hot and cold.
Hubby decided to mow the lawn during a cold portion
when it started to rain.

It rained big fat raindrops
for maybe a minute (no more than two).
M got all excited and yelled,
"I need my umbrella."
Within 30 seconds our neighbor's two little ones
were outside too.
They had on their
rain boots,
rain jacket and
umbrellas.

They were marching
up and down
the sidewalk
singing songs for the rain to stay.
After a few minutes
they gave up and decided to create
their own rain
with spray bottles.

The girls creating their
own rain with spray bottles.

A big gust of wind
blew M's
umbrella away.

Running to greet Henry.

Racing with Henry.
