LITTLE KITTEN FOUND A WARM SPOT

Can you guess where Little Kitten is?
She found a warm spot.
I got the clothes out of the dryer
and went to check to make sure I got them all
and this is what I found.

I always have to check the dryer before I turn it on
because she loves to climb in it...
makes me nervous.

CHRISTMAS TREE AND LIGHTS

We put our Christmas tree up this weekend.
All the animals did a good job helping.
I have pine needles everywhere
(even though it is a fake tree).
Little Kitten thinks it is great fun
to knock out all the ornaments.
I woke up several times last night
to the noise of an ornament dropping to the ground.

We also put the lights on the house.
Our neighborhood goes a bit crazy with the lights
(love it!!)
so we have to at least attempt to keep up.

TWISTER FUN

M had a playdate the other day with one of her friends.
We went to Chuck e cheeses for lunch.

They came home and played some games.
Here they are playing twister.

Of course Little Kitten decided she wanted to play too.
She turned the spinner round and round
but then tried to eat it so I sent her away.

Since I wouldn't let her turn the spinner anymore,
she decided to join the girls.
She decided it was much more fun
going under the twister mat than on top of it.
The girls thought it was hysterical that Kitten wanted to play.

DEAR SANTA

I was cleaning up
the other day and found this
note to Santa.
OK, seriously, is that not the
cUteST
thing on the planet.

MORE BIRTHDAY

M woke us up a little after
6am
to open her birthday presents.
Bleary eyed, me and hubby
sang her happy birthday
and watched her open
her mountain of presents and cards.

I bought her gifts several weeks ago
but the other day we were at the grocery store
when she saw this hat and glove animal thing that she begged for.
I told her no since her birthday and Christmas
was coming up.
However, whenever someone asked her
what she wanted for her birthday she kept mentioning it.
Yes, I know, I am a big push over
cause last night after I put her to bed
I went and bought the hat and glove thing.
Can you see how happy she was when she opened it......
totally worth the money!

We went to Farrells for dinner.
Here she is with a giant present from Monica.

The balloon guy made M an adorable monkey.
We were amazed at how easily he made
whatever the kids requested.
I swear he wasn't even looking at what he was doing
while he made them.

Yeah for ice-cream!!

BIRTHDAY GIRL

Every year I make a photo slide show
of M on her Birthday
so she can see in years to come
how much she has changed.
It is crazy to me that she is 8.

FAST ASLEEP

M is sound asleep.
I can't believe it is her birthday tomorrow.
Time seems to be speeding up.
I wish she could stay my little girl forever.

PRETTY VIEW

Had a lovely breakfast with a dear friend today.
We went for a short walk after
and this was the view...so pretty!

LUNCH AT THE HARBOR

Went to the harbor
for lunch and a walk with my sister and Dad.
Just some pics of the day.

Two cute pelicans.

Lady paddle boarding with her dog!!

Hubby holding my flowers

I liked the pattern of trees.....
round tree and then square tree

We talked to a guy who was sitting on a bench
with is 8 parrots (yes, I did say 8)
They were just hanging out
so M got to meet two of them.

Do you see what is on her head?
As you can tell from her expression,
M wasn't too sure about this.
I love how the little boy in the background is staring.

It was a lovely day!

BEACH TIME

M and I braved the water on Sunday
and went bogie boarding.
The water was
frEEzing!!!!
However, we did have a great time.
We came home and sat in a hot bath
to warm up
then my lovely hubby
made me a cup of tea too.
