Meet our newest member of our family,
Abiageal.
She is an Irish wolfhound mix
(look at that face!!)
so we decided to give her an Irish name.
Her name means "brings joy"
and in the last few days
she sure has brought so much joy to us!
She was dumped in the high dessert
and luckily was found by
an amazing rescue group
that took her in.
She was very thin and thirsty
(breaks my heart to even think of it)
She has an extremely sweet nature!
She is has a bad case of separation anxiety
but we are working on that with
patience, lots of love, and giving her lots of time.
Here are a few pictures of our lovely new girl.
A big thank you to Tessa for bringing her into our lives.
We bought Abiageal a new bed
but Thomas decided it was HIS.
A staring contest between Thomas and Abiageal.
Whose bed is it???
We decided to go buy two more
so that every one could have a new big bed.
Look at that face.
I love her big black nose.
Just chilling in the back yard.
Out on a hike.
She liked the yellow flowers.
Out for a car ride with M.
She loves the raccoon toy.
She will throw it up in the air and catch it again...
too cute!
Running around the back yard and having fun.
Out for a beach walk.
The weather was gorgeous.
Abiageal wasn't too sure
about the sound of the ocean.
She put her tail between her legs
when we got close.
Henry and her walk really nicely together.
We sure feel lucky
to have such a great girl to join our family.
